About Us

Wendy L. Gordon

Wendy L. Gordon & Friends had the pleasure of being the opening act for the national recording artists (The Stylistics) at Harris Stowe State University.

She was blessed to have been mentored by the late great " Lady Jazz" Mae Wheeler. She appeared on six of the ten Diva shows produced by Mae " Lady Jazz" Wheeler's Foundation (PAAR). She has graced the stages of the Sheldon Concert Hall, Westport Playhouse, Black Rep, Kranzberg, and the Lee Desmond Theater with countless seasoned musicians, vocalists and actors/actresses. She has partnered with the legendary Ms. Jeanne Trevor (First Lady Of Song) and they were cast in four of the Jazz Heaven Series and three of the First Night New Year's Eve performances at the Kranzberg Theater. She was a contestant in the Ms. Senior America MO pageant in 2011 and placed 1st runner-up. In March 2017 she was inducted as queen for the year of 2011. As member she performs faithfully in showcases at assistant living, nursing homes and senior centers. MPAC distributes all of the proceeds from each showcase to local charities annually, throughout the St. Louis area.

Wendy L. Gordon is the author of Jazz Heaven Series. Year to date (YTD) she has written and produced 11 shows. She is a song stylist, an actress, poet, author, storyteller and producer/promoter. She has performed throughout the St. Louis Area and metropolitan area for over 20 years.
